“As a family with kids, the nature walk with Matt was a fantastic way to see some of the wonderful natural scenery around Sitges and learn about plants – smelling AND tasting. We even saw a wild horse!
Matt is a great guide with loads of knowledge and has a way with kids. On top of a fun afternoon we got some nice exercise.
This was absolutely the most unique and memorable highlight of our trip to Spain.
Thank you, Matt!”

“Absolutely recommended. Matt is a great nature observer and photographer. For sure your children will enjoy discovering our natural beauties, like the Garraf Natural Parc, and our vineyards, caves, cliffs and forests. Our wild fauna is quite diverse and spectacular (boars, mustelids, foxes, turtles, eagles and colorful bee-eaters, snakes, lizards, frogs, salamanders, and many different insects).”
– Quim Miñano, Sant Pere de Ribes, Spain
“Everything was so much fun! I finally saw a gecko!”
– Sammy, 7 yrs
“My kids love the walks with Matt. Not only are they fun and educational for the kids, adults learn so much too. My kids love the walks when the edible flowers are out – such a healthy day out.”
– Daniel Ward, Sitges, Spain
“We have been on countless trips with Matt. Each single one was a stunning experience for the kids – and also us parents. Everyone MUST go on a trip organized by Matt at least once, believe me!”
– Carsten Schneider, Vienna, Austria
“We always enjoy our walks with you and the boys. Our kids learn from your tremendous knowledge and get enthusiastic once they see and hear you explain what they are seeing.”
– Raj Airey, Olivella, Spain
“Matt took our kids with a few others fossil hunting. Not only had he prospected the site first to ensure the fossils were there (little kids have short attention spans) but he knew many different types, and articulated perfectly how fossils came to be there. But it wasn’t just a fossil hunt…it was an eco-treasure hunt. We gently hunted dung beetles, prodded through owl pellets looking at what rodents they’d caught, identified I don’t know how many birds and plants… just brilliant. It really inspired me to get out more with my kids into ‘them thar hills’. A great teacher and lovely humble guy. A Matt eco trip is really a wonderful experience.”

“It was super cool! I learnt many things like, for example, which is the most dangerous plant in Spain. There is nothing I did not like. I totally recommend it!”
– Noa, Sant Pere de Ribes, Spain
“I enjoyed my discovery walks with Matt because we found many things, like bones and snakes, and then Matt would read about them in his book. He is very nice and we would love to go on another excursion with him!”
– David, Sant Pere de Ribes, Spain
